It was a wonderful blessing to return to Perth for a few days of R&R. It has been over four years since we moved away from Perth and this was our first time back. We revisited many places in the area that brought back many memories of our 3 years of being based in Perth from 2001-2004.
Happy New Year 2009! Our family sends to you our best wishes and prayers for you and your family for a great and fruitful 2009! We are expecting this year to be our best yet. We are also anticipating the biggest blessings to flow into our lives. Beth set the stage for the year as she spoke last Sunday. She proclaimed to the people that this is the year that we will hear the heartbeat of God and that we will commit to knowing Him in higher and more intimate ways. Join us in knowing Him and making Him known in all the world in 2009!!
We have received news that Fairley Brown, from Cape Town, South Africa, is suffering with pulmonary tuberculosis. All we know is that she needs to receive medical attention and medicines for at least 6 months. We have been planning to have Fairley move back to Southeast Asia to teach at our training centers. Please pray for her complete healing so she can make her way back to this ministry. Thank you. Earlier this year both Rachel & Sara Grace took the Iowa Test of Basic Skills. This grade & age appropriate test was offered by the Advanced Training Institute International, a USA based Christian education organization. The results are in. Both Rachel and Sara Grace scored very high overall! We are very proud of our girls! They continue to excel in their academics. High marks also must be given to Beth, our homeschooling Mom! She has been a faithful and encouraging teacher to the girls over these last 7 years.
Special thanks to Joe Arthur, Bill Baulding & Hugh Hoyle for accompanying Tim on a 12 day journey throughout Southeast Asia earlier this month. We ministered to our leaders & members in a variety of venues. It was a great time of blessing for the people of Southeast Asia as well as a time of blessing for us. Thanks guys - it was memorable!!
Special thanks to Rhonda & Jonathan Bauer, Debra Lybrand, Larry & Alicia Shaw, Jimmy & Katie Cook, Pastor Derrick Gardner and the Missions Committee at Life Springs Worship Center in Lexington, SC.
