Forward Movement in Jakarta

Our outreach continues to the families of Situ Gintung in Jakarta, Indonesia.  Through our Forward Movement platform, and in partnership with our Jakarta leaders, we will begin to offer weekly English language classes to the children of Situ Gintung.  There may be as many as 2-3 different classes operating as the ages of the children vary from 3-16.  This outreach is our way to build relationship with these victims of the dam burst that destroyed over 300 homes and killed over 100 people in April this year.  We need approximately US$100 per month to operate these English language classes. If you would like to invest in this outreach please send your funds to the below address and write your check to WMM and earmark it, 'Forward Movement-28000.'

Or you may DONATE ONLINE.

Beth in ministry In Word and Prayer

Beth ministering the Word.

Beth ministering in Prayer.

Beth had the opportunity last Sunday to minister at one of our partner churches here in Singapore - The Glory Centre. She spoke on 'Taking a bold step of faith.' She shared the story of the blind beggar and Zacchaeus (Luke 18 & 19). Both of these men overcame obstacles and were able to make their way to an encounter with Jesus Christ. Both were determined and the end result was salvation and blessing!!

VISION 2010 - Repent & Re-ignite!

We invite you to receive this word for your 2010:

As we REPENT and turn away from ungodly and carnal attitudes, behaviors and actions, God will RE-IGNITE us with the Fruit of the Spirit enabling us to walk in the Spirit which in turn will bring a manifestation of greater signs, wonders and miracles in us and through us!!

That's a VISION for 2010!!!

Earlier this month Tim traveled to the area of Indonesia which was ravaged by the big tsunami 5 years ago.  We currently have 17 workers living in this area reaching out to the people there.  We spent four days encouraging and ministering to them.  In addition, we brought them out to eat all weekend.  It was a special time for all of us.  Thanks to Hugh & Lois Hoyle for accompanying us on the trip.

Water Tanks in Bali.

Tim & Bali leaders by water tank.

One of our new strategies to reach out to the Hindus of Bali is through the construction of water tanks for village communities.  Our leaders in Bali (pictured above) are working to build these tanks that will help make life for these Balinese people much easier.  Each tank costs US$300 to build which includes supplies, transport, labor & equipment.  Our goal is to build 200 of these tanks by the end of 2010.  Please help us reach out to the Balinese.  You may send your investment for reaching the Balinese people to the address below and writing your check to WMM and earmarking it, "Operation Lion King Bali - 27015."

Or you may DONATE ONLINE. Please pray for this outreach project. Thank you.
